Bought for my daughter who is blonde, she loves to create new styles and experiment with colours; trained as a hairdresser so knows what she doing but even so I was surprised how well the colours worked.Each of the coloured chalks is in a comb like device which I'm told makes applying the temporay colour that much easier; The hair is divided into sections, dampened, combed through and then the chalk glides down each section. I suppose the colour achieved is better the lighter the hair is; certainly seems to be the case here.Chalk dust does come off when applying so we are advised to cover the shoulders and after applying to set the colour, by running the hair straightens through the hair. I was surprised how glossy her hair looked, was expecting a more matt finish but she says the straightens really helped with that.I does say that the colour can survive one wash but the brightness of colour did fade.Easy to use, bright, vibrant temporary colours on light blonde hair; happy with results.

Brought these for my daughter as she was desperate to have unicorn coloured hair. She has mid brown hair so it’s pretty impossible to get pastel colours to show. These hair chalks were easy to use (love how they come in little comb attachments) and left a subtle colour on her hair. Easy to brush out and any residue left came out easily with a shampoo which is fab as she isn’t allowed coloured hair at school. They look like they will last quite a while too, so looking forward to many more weekends of unicorn coloured hair!

Wasn't expecting much for £9.99 but it really exceeded my expectations, only tried the blue so far and it is soo much brighter than I though it would be! Only think I dislike is that they are really small so probably only get one use out of each colour

Loving this dry hair chalk, i recommend this chalk to alot ofpeople for kids. Im a hairdresser and recommend this overprofessional hair chalk products. I use this product in mydaughter's long hair and sons short hair. A few passes over hairand color is in nice and bright. Stays in for few days with outwashing, very little transfer from hair to skin or clothing withColor. Very happy with product.

I ordered these for my daughters 'break the rules day' at school.They are awful. I tried it on both dry and damp hair and the colour just doesn't come out. It tells you not to brush the hair after the chalk is applied. But with the amount of combing you need to do to see the colour, it ends up making the hair looked so messy!! The chalk popped out of 3 of the combs we had. Two others left clumps in her hair!! Honestly, don't both wasting your money on these.

I was quite impressed when I opened the packet, but as soon as I began to use them, they just fell apart. There are black stoppers at the top of each comb to hold the colour in, but they kept falling off, and because of this a couple of the colours just disintegrated. Shame really as the ones that didn't break did give good colour coverage on blonde hair. I returned for a refund.

Easy to use combs.Good colour on my hair which I’d class as dark blond.You need to follow the instructions for best results.Although the colour looks good hair feels a little “chalky”.

Love these hair chalks so easy to use. I brought for a 9 year old and she absolutely loves them. Easy to wash out too
