Great book ! Robert Rogers has the background to bring this subject into the main stream awareness of the western world. We need clinical science for people in the medical realm to accept claims made about medicinal fungi and start working with them in their practice. This book is a significant step in that direction.

I really get a lot of great info from this book but if only the photos could be in color. It’s hard to really identify between the mushrooms a good. But well worth it for how much I got from this book.

I had high hopes for this text. While there is useful information, there is very little evaluation of the studies, and the formatting leaves a lot to be desired. If you can navigate pubmed or other databases you really don't need this book. It seems like just a collection of the author's notes and his personal reference list...

I have NEVER seen a mushroom that's GRAY. It is impossible to identify ANY mushroom from this book. That makes this book USELESS.
