I had to cut open a frozen trunk latch on our minivan. I went through a couple boxes of the diamond coated bits and several hours of work without success. I also shopped all the local tool stores and a couple big hardware stores and nobody sold bits like this.These bits worked great! One bit, that is still usable, and a half hour and I had the trunk open. If you have to grind metal with a dremel then buy these.

Larger heads than expected. Aggressive cutting while smooth results. Purchased the 10 pack and now wish I would have purchased the 20 pack.

These are very small, about 3/8 inches wide. They did not work very effectively in grinding down metal. It took several minutes of grinding to remove a very tiny portion of metal

These come in handy for all sorts of detail clean up work.

These burrs are worth the $. I'm still a novice, so I still like to experiment with different burrs, and how they will suit my needs. These have become my go to do anything on virtually any surface! Definitely recommended!

The good part first. The carbide burrs work well for basswood woodcarvings which is what I do for several hours each day. Very smooth with the grain; a bit rough against as you would expect. In walnut and especially hard maple and cherry you need to keep the bit moving or they will burn. This also is as expected. One or two were not as sharp as they should be, but the rest were fine. With the variety of shapes available and for the price it doesn't hurt so much to toss one aside. I would have rated these a five except that the burrs are not balanced well enough to extend the head way out from the collet without picking up a serious vibration at high speed. This is sad since it prevents the ability to extend the burr to reach deeply into hard to reach spots.
