[Newest Version] GravityFlow Self-Cleaning Glass Betta Fish Aquarium - The Original Self Cleaning Aquarium! [2nd Generation]

This was a Christmas gift for my 92-year-old mother-in-law. She loves it and it's so easy for her to take care of. It was the perfect gift for her. Also, the quality of the blown glass is amazing. I have seen some made of plastic like this, but there is no comparison. Definitely worth spending the extra money. Only problem is...now I want one for myself. Love it!

Easy to add clean water with displacement, but a few issues. After displacing water, the spout still drips for a while and really close to the tank, so I need a towel or a tall vase carefully angled right under the spout, a regular cup won't work. Still need to clean it completely every few weeks. I also wish it was bigger so our betta had more room to swim and to filter water.

wow i was suckered into thinking this would work. just couldn't get that flow, that water cycle rhythm to work and so it became more work to house a fish than i thought should have been necessary. But not a total loss. i now have a lovely fresh flower vase for my bathroom. and a new home for my beta. in this great acrylllc bubble home that hangs on the wall in the bathroom.

I've had this tank about a month and so far I love it! The manufacture has been great on communication and it arrived safely on time. I disagree with the previous criticism about the size. From what I understand, betas live in muddy puddles in the wild. This tank is like a mansion to my beta's previous home. For his first two years he lived in the plastic cup he was purchased in (we inherited from my daughter's friend). He likes to swim along the bottom and when he sees me and wants to be fed he'll swim to the top. I bought a beautiful silk plant and he loves to sleep on the leaves. We haven't tested the cleaning mechanism yet because the water hasn't been too dirty (a good thing). I will need to purchase a small brush to clean the insides of the glass since I keep the tank near a window. I'm not a fish psychiatrist like the last guy, but my fish seems happy, far from depressed! Bonus, it looks gorgeous in my kitchen! I will be purchasing more in the future for my parents.

This item was a gift for my 5-year old grandson. We went to the pet store, picked out a fish then went home. The tank was dirty in 3-days. We cleaned it out and placed his beta fish back in (who he named Raphael). The tank again got dirty very fast, but the worst thing was, his fish died! Not a great experience for a 5-year old on his first pet! VERY EXPENSIVE GIFT - do not purchase this item.

This aquarium seems to work as advertised, but it is narrower than I expected and the glass is very thick in the corners obscuring your view somewhat.

Love this aquarium! It stay so clean! The company is great...... and they email you with any questions you may have. Great idea for this no clean aquarium!!

It works great the way it's described. Gets out a lot of crud, and easy to do. I do have a lot of algae or something on the sides of the tank so I don't know if I can call it no clean.
