Very effective for clearing ground
An excellent impliment. Very good for removing roots such as brambles. Heavy to use so some strength is needed but highly effective in clearing areas of ground. Has made many of the jobs on our allotment garden much easier.

Heavy weight and sturdy handle. Does the job I bought it for at the allotment. Put a couple of screws either side, underneath the head of the mattock just for some extra security.

Very solid & heavy
Bought this to help remove some conifer stumps from the garden & its certainly up to the job. Its well made & feels solid to use. It is well balanced so quite easy to use, but as a lady in my mid 60s, I'm not sure how long I will have the strength to swing it. The weight helps to cut through tree roots, but it does take some strength to use it
