Let's Eat Right to Keep Fit

I've known about Adele Davis all my life as my mother used to refer to her copy alot. I've now got my own and I turn there first whenever there is something wrong. For instance, I've 'cured' my hayfever through extra vitamin A and vitamin C, sometimes up to 6g per day when it was really bad. So much better than taking antihistamines! She's particularly useful if I want to know what the safe limits of a vitamin are, or if I have a symptom which can be described. Would recommend to everyone - it never goes out of date.

An old book, now out of print, but still one of the very best on the subject of human nutrition. I was so grateful to find a secondhand copy of this as my original copies had all been given away to people who needed them. The state of the book was not good but paper backs do not wear well and it was a readable copy so I was content.

Fascinating book..... I'll try to do as she says!

Old school but tell u how to eat right and why

The book gives a lot of suggestions.It doesn't tell only as to eat but give very useful informations on vitamins and how to use them to cure several diseases.

dated and somewhat discredited for made up references, still mre useful than mumsnet and facebook and lots of anecdotal instances of dietary deficiencies.
