I've been preparing my lawn for over seeding & today i got a frost advisory. should i now wait for spring? low was supposed to be 41.

Does your local forecast show daytime high temperatures still in the high 70's or 80's? If those temperatures remain and your overnight lows remain above 45 or so, you may have a chance. Also keep an eye on soil temperatures, if they're able to maintain above 55-60 degrees F, then there might be some time. It does seem like the window is closing though. Spring planting is still an option if you prefer not risking lawn establishment issues this fall.

For the most part, your year round soil temperatures are very conducive to getting bluegrass to germinate and grow, while summer would be the most stressful. You can probably seed right about now. Germination would be slowest during your low winter temperatures, but relative to the rest of the country you're still pretty warm and able to grow cool season grasses.

Does this have Barvette in it?

This doesn't have Barvette included, however it is the dominant cultivar in our other product Turf Blue HGT.
