Good insights for leaders and team members alike
I have been thinking of reading this book since 2019 as Jim Highsmith is one of the co-authors! This book is good, but I could not see the stamp of Jim Highsmith, who is a great thought leader, and hence the four star rating. This book would be useful for leaders and team members of organizations undertaking Digital transformation. It answers the question "are you fast enough?" in this VUCA world where the technology is growing at an exponential rate. I like the emphasis on Tech@Core for winning in this competitive VUCA world. It emphasizes the importance of mindset change to outcome orientation from output / activity orientation. There is good guidance on the Measures of success to be used for the same and light-weight governance required to achieve the agility resulting in little discipline. The book also talks of how autonomous teams could collaborate and discusses various practical problems. It also provides guidance on the desired adaptive mindset change for leaders.I would recommend this book for those looking for light-weight governance around their large digital transformations as most transformations are big bang changes with huge teams following waterfall and labelling it as Agile - an unfortunate trend.

A “Must Read” for everyone
If I could write a book, this is the book I would have written - I’ve recommended it to many of my colleagues because I’m certain like me, they will a) resonate with the problems identified in today’s organisations b) find the logic and rationale unarguable on how to approach digital transformation c) conclude that the proposals are entirely practical and sustainable. Highly recommended.

You only get credit for delivering value
This book guides executives as well as project owners. When a company applies this through the organization they set the North star and leverage the self organizing skills of the teams to delivering the right value on the course defined. It's intuitive, it outlines how we need to move from command and control to autonomous teams but with the guardrails of goals through to measures whilst enabling those skilled workers the space to leverage and exploit their expertise.

Low print quality
Book contents are excellent but let down due to the poor print quality. Letters look fuzzy.
