Evaporative Air Cooler With Fan & Humidifier

EDIT: I said I'd update this after I got some use out of it. It's easy to use and mostly hassle free. I do have one recommendation though.That is, get some potable water purification tablets or something. Keep in mind that you're going to be using water for refills and such, and I let mine sit unused for a few days and after using it again, even with changing the water it was kind of funky, like stale water in a fish tank.I cleaned it, washed it out and it helped, but how do you clean in the lines without dismantling it.So I got some potable water purification tablets and put it in the water container in the back. It worked great. Smells fresh and clean.A while back, my AC unit went out, and I just didn't have the money to replace it (it's out of warranty).I'm saving up to buy one, but in the meanwhile, the heat is on us and for a couple days it was almost 90 in the house. I don't mind it in the day, but at night when I'm trying to sleep? ugh! Misery.So, after shopping around for a while I decided on tis model, as opposed to a window AC unit, (no point since I'll have the big unit outside replaced soon enough. I ust needed something to keep me cool while I sleep).After reading the reviews I was prepared. I had enough cold water to fill the tank ready ahead of time.The set up was super easy. I filled it up with the cold water, turned it on. It took a minute to cool, (and the ice packs are in the freezer), but yeah. It works! Only been on a little while and my room is much cooler already.I'd imagine though that what people say is true. The water has to be cold and/or it needs the ice packs for it to be ice cold but I don't need it ice cold.I just need it to keep the room below the temperature of the surface of the sun while I sleep lol.It's a good buy. I highly recommend it.

Worked amazingly for last year, but now it’s getting hot again decided to pull it out and just blows air (not cold). And Yes I did store it properly.

When you put cold water with ice or buy a few of your own way bigger ice packs than the two little ones they send you the machine works amazingly if you're looking to cool down a garage or one bedroom its excellent basically areas no bigger than that, I bought it for hurricane reasons in case we lost power I could put it in the bedroom so we would have some cool air with the hurricane threats that go through every year pretty much everybody has generators where I live so I bought it with the intentions of being able to at least cool down my bedroom by using it off of the generator but I've also tried it in the garage to see if it wud cool it down and it did, it's a two-car garage in our summers in Florida get up too 100° with severe humidity and it cooled it down nicely I also tried it in my bedroom just so I don't have to run the air so low and it worked well I would say every 2 hours you're going to have to apply more ice cold water or ice packs whatever you choose to use but if you do that then it does the job however when it arrived the whole bottom right back side was smashed in and because of the hassle of returning it along with it coming in a mangle box and it being such a big item I decided to try and fix it myself and I was able to cuz I really ended up liking it, I also noticed my allergies are some better since running in my room and I don't always have ice water in it I'll just run the fan because of my allergies being better since using it but I was in shock at how it arrived it wasn't good I just happened to be able to fix it and make it right so it's not a reflection on the machine it's not loud and as I said it has helped with my allergies and really cools down a big enough room if needed I truly believe more than anything it's reflection on the drivers and how rough they are with the stuff they deliver they throw stuff around and are not easy on the merchandise being delivered however in the circumstance it's kind of hard to tell cuz it was so bashed in at the bottom so I'm not sure if it came from the warehouse like that already or was a driver issue and it's disappointing when you do spend the amount of money on something like this to not have it arrived at least in the condition it should be it also is supposed to swing there's a button that you can hit and it will swing that doesn't work however I'm okay without it & they give you too very small ice packs that are not going to do the job you'll have to buy more or bigger ones the two that they send are pretty small and don't do anything at all so I add ice and bought bigger ice packs and that I made a huge difference it works great to the remote as well there's no difficulty in understanding any of it and setting it up so really my review is based on it coming damaged with a not swinging and they're being pretty mangled at the bottom other than that it really is a great machine and I would get another one if needed...

I originally purchased this cooler for my brother. He needed temporary relief from a hot summer! He tried it out and said he really didn’t feel the “cold” as advertised.I figured it may have been operator error so I brought it home to see if what he said had any merit. It worked great for me. Interchanging the ice packs became a bit cumbersome but I was willing to deal.After a couple weeks, though the cooler started to leak from the bottom. And that was my breaking point. I really wanted it to work out but this cooler needs a few more tweaks in the quality department.

I love the size of the product, not to big or heavy. I can carry up and down the stairs with no problem. They have to areas on it where you can easily grip it. The air comes out so cool, without you hitting the cool button. But if you choose to it feels amazing. The design is sleek looking and I didn't know it has a swing feature (oscillator) I slept so good last night. I ran it all evening and night and the water was still sitting in its tray. It comes with the ice blocks to make it cooler but you don't have to use them. I just sent the link to my sister for her to purchase too.
