I read a review that said these don’t digest because they took a long time to dissolve in water 🤦‍♀️, which scarily has 700-some odd “helpful” votes. This is not even close to what happens in the digestive tract, and is a misleading statement. The pH of water is neutral (7). The pH of the stomach is 1 (HIGHLY acidic due to the hydrochloric acid our bodies make to digest foods and break down complex nutrients so our bodies can absorb & use them). Sinking a vitamin in water and saying they won’t digest is completely misleading and inaccurate. These capsules are designed to dissolve at a specific rate IN THE DIGESTIVE TRACT, not a glass of water. These vitamins DO work to improve hair, skin, and nail health. I’ve been taking these for several years and they have improved the condition of my hair, skin, and nails. I have thyroid disease and an autoimmune condition that has caused my hair to thin out badly and become brittle, and made my nail and skin condition poor as well. I’m 38 and I’m a skincare & hair care formulator with a small business, and I hold myself to the highest standards regarding transparency and educating my clients about false beauty claims and ingredients, and ethically sourcing my raw materials. I also have a background in medicine, I am educated extensively in these fields. You can fact check me, in fact, I encourage you to do so. Don’t let a completely irrelevant glass of water “test” deter you. This supplement has everything the body needs to improve the health of hair, skin, and nails from within, which is where it all starts. This product doesn’t regrow hair, but it does improve the texture and health, in my experience. My nails look much better as well. This is a safe vitamin (per my doctor, ALWAYS consult your doctor before starting a supplement, and read the ingredients list for potential allergens) containing vitamins/nutrients the body needs anyway, and is “natural” (I use this term loosely because “natural” has no meaning in the skincare and haircare world; just like “green” has no meaning, it’s a gimmick, if you want proof of this, check with the FDA; no laws or regulations exist that define “natural” or “green” in beauty/cosmetics and it is just another gimmicky, misleading way for beauty companies to take your $$, no regulations or laws exist to prevent any company from making these claims and no definitions or parameters currently exist that even define what they mean in beauty), for those who want a product with no “chemicals” (meaning chemical actives, I.e. minoxidil, as every single thing on earth is a chemical & has a chemical formula; water is a chemical, H2O is it’s chemical formula). Please take the time time to check the facts on products because the cosmetic/beauty industry is almost entirely unregulated as far as claims companies can make, save for any kind of claim to treat or prevent conditions, I.e. sunscreens, as these types of products are considered drugs by the FDA. These do digest, but can be a bit irritating on an empty stomach if you happen to have a sensitive tummy. I do have a long history of GI problems as part of my health conditions, so I take these with food to prevent a bellyache. For the price, you can’t really beat these as a simple and effective way to help improve the condition of hair, skin, & nails, as long as your doc gives you the green light. I hope this helps for anyone who isn’t aware of the plethora of misinformation in beauty, it’s literally my job to know the science and the laws/regs about products and ingredients, and to be 100% FDA compliant. Do your homework folks, because there is a TON of bad, misleading “info” out there about all things beauty. All in all, I give this product 5 stars. This is a great way to improve your beauty regimen from the inside out, and good health will always be the number one way to keep your hair, skin, and nails looking and feeling good.

Not going to sugar coat this — the smell and taste is horrible, and if I could give a half star I’d rate these 4.5 for that reason, but it doesn’t merit knocking off a full star. I’ve had these over a month now and my nails are stronger and growing faster, and my hair is also growing much faster. I’ve experienced hormonal changes and had started to notice my top layers (shoulder length hair and had a bad haircut resulting in too short of layers) taking much longer to grow out… and has also started to notice my nails becoming a bit more brittle and breaking. Full disclosure I added these to my existing daily gummy vitamin. They are easy to swallow and are truly gross - but I just take them with a little juice and it’s not that bad, and the results are worth it! My skin looks better and I feel better as well.

I’ve been taking Nature’s Bounty Advanced Hair, Skin & Nails for about a days now, and I can already see a difference. My hair feels stronger and looks shinier, and I’ve noticed less breakage when brushing. My skin is clearer and more hydrated, which is a big plus.The softgels are easy to swallow, and they don’t have a bad aftertaste. I also like that it includes biotin, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid—a great combination for overall beauty support.It does take a little consistency to see results, but it’s definitely worth sticking with. I’ll be buying another bottle for sure!

I realized 2 months ago that my hair on my head is thinning. Most of the women in my family experience this so I thought I would try something to slow down and reverse this trend. My hair has stopped thinning on my head and hair other places has taken off like lightening. They should form a corporate partnership with hair removal companies. 😁My nails are stronger and longer also. Hopefully, I’ll be able to see an improvement in a few more months on the hair coming out of my noggin.

After one month see pic, my nails have grown from stubs to really long and strong, amazing how well these work compared to the gummies, also my hair is way thicker and growing faster and my skin looks pretty great too! These are the best version of these I’ve ever used and will never go back to the gummies or any other brand also the price is quite reasonable compared to in store (unless there is a BOGO deal of course) these are also easy to swallow and a really pretty cool color the only downside is you have to take three at a time which is not a big deal but of course I would prefer a single pill

I've written very few reviews before, but this one really deserves it. I'm in perimenopause and it seemed like my hair was beginning to grow incredibly slowly. I had shaved my head completely smooth, so it was very easy to calculate my hair's growth rate, and lo and behold, I was right. Average hair growth is about 0.35mm per day, and mine was about 0.24mm per day.I heard anecdotes that a biotin supplement would help, so I gave this one a try. I've been taking 3 gelcaps daily for just under 7 months now, and my hair's growth rate has skyrocketed to 0.57mm per day, more than doubling what it was before and well exceeding the average. It looks denser at the roots, too, and I'm seeing a lot less scalp and a lot less shedding. I intend to continue taking this forever, and strongly recommend it if you're at all interested in getting your hair to grow faster or fuller.

I have always had fine, thin hair but things got worse when I suffered from stress-related hair loss starting almost a year ago and continuing for many months. I started taking 1-2 of these pills per day starting in mid-February, along with 400mg of horsetail daily starting in late March. I am pretty amazed at how much my hair has filled in and how quickly it is growing. I even had the back of my hair trimmed between these two photos. My eyelashes and nails are growing quickly too.
