A fascinating series tracing the history of British towns in different centuries. Alice Roberts is an excellent presenter whose enthusiasm for the subject matter is there for all to see. Highly recommended. History at it's best.

Had product while just managed watch very interesting saw on tv though Portsmouth is a city not a town just brought for Portsmouth episode very interesting history

Alice is now running low on towns as the first two videos were marginally better.I'm please to have bought all three series now.

Been a huge fan of Alice Roberts since the days of Time Team and other series she's been involved in since , so the Britains Historic Town dvd series , which she makes both interesting and fun , is a perfect addition to accompany her books. Fans of Alice and history will really enjoy this series .
