MOVA Self Rotating Globe, Earth with Clouds Signature (6")

This is one of the coolest items I have ever bought. I usually do not leave reviews unless I am very impressed with something. Not only is it beautiful, it works really well. This will be a great tool to teach my students which way the Earth turns and to also show them how day and night works. It does require quite a bit of light to get it spinning, but once it gets started, it keeps going. When the light turns off, it stops. It is quite expensive, but it definitely looks the part. It does seem to be made of plastic so you do need to be very careful with it but if it is just sitting on a desk/shelf, it should be perfect. Cleaning it will probably take more care than normal, but as long as you’re careful and use non abrasive cleaners/just a dry microfiber cloth, it should be fine. Would highly recommend if you are into space or the planet Earth in general.

He loves this thing. It's almost constantly in motion from just the temperature fluxuations in the home with sunlight. Very interesting piece.

it's really cool, & high quality. for some reason I thought that ordering it "with clouds" would mean that the clouds would have their own "layer" ,so to speak. It seemed in the video like the clouds moved "separately" from the land. On further thought, I guess that would be hard to do, & in reality the clouds don't move very fast, & change all the time. It looks great & I'm glad I got it with clouds (even though they stay the same), because it still looks more realistic than "no clouds" would.

I want to say that the box was ripped opened!! It’s unfortunate because this is a Father’s Day gift. I’m assuming this was a return item, which is unacceptable for the money I’ve paid. I’ll keep for 30 days and if it doesn’t work I have to return it. The item is beautiful and delivery was great.

Absolutely stunning view of the whole Earth. The globe rotates inside a clear acrylic shell, a little bit slower than I had initially expected, but it actually seems more more natural and allows you to appreciate the fine detail of the surface image. It only takes average room light to start rotating, and I've already had many compliments on this addition to my office decor. A little bit pricey, but worth every penny to me!

This is pretty cool and does what they say it will do but it's not worth the money in my opinion. It spins slowly and it looks like a paper image of the earth inside a glass ball.

Absolutely astonishing! Makes a great conversation piece. Everyone that comes in my house asks about this and wants to sit and watch it. This makes the perfect gift for any occasion for that hard to shop for man in everyone’s life!

Lovely. Will not break easily. Delivery man threw it over my front gate and I heard it hit cement path. It works well. WAS WELL PACKED. Expensive but worth having if you can afford one. This is my second globe and they complement each other nicely.

Bought as a gift. I was skeptical as I thought it would look cheap but I must admit it's a beautiful globe and definitely not cheap

I believe Earth with Clouds is by far the best Mova Globe - but I'm a biodiversity lover and I may be biased. Apart from that, this is a magical item, the mechanism of movement is so brilliant and so mesmerizing, you will literally enjoy every time you look at it. In terms of size, don't go for 4" , too small and 8" too big, 6" is the right on spot size. In terms of price, it is pricy but wait for discounts and secure one when it is discounted. I waited for quite some time but when you buy with discount (I bought during Prime), you will justify the spent for sure.
