Wusthof Gourmet 7-Piece Steak-Knife Set with Wooden Block

Best knives I have ever purchased. They are so light, comfortable to hold and can cut like nothing I have seen before. Smoothly cuts through all my vegetables, my bread, and everything else. I absolutely love them. The holding block is small and easy to place in a small spot. Very well made and solid. Extremely happy with my set of knives.

I did some searching for steak knife reviews before buying these. The Wusthof brand of knives repeatedly appeared across several review websites. I thought the packaging seemed a bit excessive. However, there wasn't a single scratch on any of the knives. These knives are non-serated and very sharp. I was pretty impressed. Very sharp out of the box. While the steel may not be as thick as those on the classic line (which I have), they are just as well made. A much, much better product than the stamped, cookie-cutter steak knives we've all owned at one time or another. Wusthoff never fails to deliver and they certainly did with these steak knives.

Purchased this steak knife set from Cutlery and More where there were delivery issues with UPS. It may have been stolen or never delivered, but Cutlery and More was very proactive and positive with replacing the order. their customer service was exemplary.

Very good knives. My only issue is the block is not so heavy, so when pulling a knife out, it often falls over.

We have had some chincey steak knives that 'come free with your order...' and boy did they suck. Finally decided to invest in proper steak knives. I have had a set of Wustof knives for over 30 years and they still cut like new (they are used heavily and sharpened occasionally) so it was a no brainer to get these. We used them on a steak the other knight and they cut it like butter even though the steak was not the tenderest of cuts (wasn't bad though). The junk ones you would have had to saw at to cut which begs - why did we wait so long.

The set received was as it was described. The knives are sharp and comfortable to use. They're not oversized like a lot of steak knives out there. The block keeps them safe, secure and handy. Have purchased less expensive knives in the past. They were a waste of money. Wound up donating them. Time will tell their performance but hope they last a long time. Overall very pleased and recommend them.
