Bought to use a Wii Mini on a modern 4k TV with no component or Scart connections. Had previously tried two Hdmi converters until I found out that these are not compatible with the Wii Mini due to its video output being different. This RCA to Hdmi converter does an excellent job. The image is obviously not HD but the Wii Mini is not capable of producing such an image. The colours are bright, it is displayed in wide screen with no stretching of the image, and the quality is surprisingly good. How long the product will last is anyone's guess but at the time of writing I can 100% recommend for anyone wanting to connect a Wii Mini.

I got a Nintendo Wii which is old, but my TV is latest model(2023) which doesn't have RCA ports(yellow, red, white), so i was looking for device like this. It is easy to connect, it's a good device, didn't face any problem. But, it would've been more better, if it gets it's own HDMI output which gets connected to TV directly. I had to buy separate HDMI cable for this, and it gets little messy with so many cables behind the TV. I have given 5 stars, but i believe it can be improved further, or may be i missed, it might exists.

Used this to hook up to a 32" gaming monitor. It works with no problems and quality looks as you'd expect....i.e PS2 doesn't look amazing on modern TVs or monitors but as good as you'll get. The device itself feels quite light and cheap. Please be aware that it needs to be powered so you'll need to plug into a spare powered USB socket or power supply (you get usb cable which is a good length). Not usually a problem with modern TVs and monitors as they generally have them.

As the title of my review says, this works but the quality of the picture is not great quality. It works ok for our needs (we’re using it for my son’s karaoke machine so picture quality isn’t so important) but I probably wouldn’t recommend for playing videos or games consoles etc. Some of the similar versions of this come with an HDMI lead from the converter box to the TV but this one doesn’t and there’s no lead included (to be fair, the pictures said this would be the case but I thought I’d mention in case important to anyone else).

Flickering and signal interference. As others have said not suitable for use with Nintendo Wii as it just flickers and cannot be used. Too late to obtain a refund.

I used this to connect my PlayStation 2 to a modern HD TV and it works really well, there is a noticeable difference between 720p and 1080p so I keep it at 1080p for a clearer picture. My 55" TV makes the games a little blocky in places but that is expected due to the limitations of the PS2 and presumably there is only so much an upscaler can do. Great for playing Burnout and all the other PS2 classics they haven't re-released yet!

Easy to use... It has option to switch between 720p & 1080p depending on your output device. You just need an additional hdmi connector and you're ready to connect legacy devices with your new gadget.

I’m using this on my Nintendo 64 and it works great! The power cable is a bit short and the placement of the port could have been next to the HDMI port for convenience but still, it works!

This converter makes it possible to attach my aging Sony PlayStation 2 to a more modern Flat panel T.V. and makes it possible to enjoy and play games on the PS2 further extending its life. It comes with a upscaler chip to choose between 720 P and 1080 the the picture quality is good in both setting. The only drawback is that the converter needs to be powered by external USB cable ( Supplied with the unit ) and it takes up the USB port on the PS2. The other minor grievance is that it exposes the PS2 video output as primitive in the age where 4k output has become the standard. Besides that, It is a good buy.
