Love these sprouts!
This is my favorite mix and I love the Broccoli inclusion. Everything I read about broccoli sprouts leads me to believe that I am going to become superhuman from eating them; so I make sure to eat some every day. The clover and alfalfa is always welcome in my sprout mix and then the little bit of added radish provides a nice sharp bite to the overall flavor profile. If you have not made sprouts, DO IT. They are always the star at every meal gathering I host. I have a constant rotation of sprouts going all the time. I start out by putting 3 to 4.5 tablespoons of seeds into a regular drinking glass with enough water to let the seeds be completely submerged overnight. Give the glass a good swirl to make sure all the seeds get wet. The next morning I drain the water and spread the seeds into a casserole dish or something similar. I then put saran wrap over the top and poke a few holes. Each day I will rinse and drain the seeds twice. About 5-6 days later I will have a carpet of sprouts that I then package up into either Ziploc baggies or a Tupperware container and then put them into the fridge to stop the growth and keep them fresh. (BTW. Just so you know, 1 tablespoon of seeds will fill a quart mason jar. So 3-4.5 tablespoons of seeds will be a lot of sprouts but my house can go through them quickly)I find it pleasant to fluff or pull apart the sprouts before serving. The sprouts will intertwine together while growing and if you don't pull them apart then when you fork out a bite they will cling together in one solid mass. But if you fluff them first then it makes for a nice delicate bite of deliciousness. I add them to a salad spring mix or with some broccoli slaw and mushrooms... In a sandwich or soups... Or just straight up with some italian dressing and tomato slices... Mmmmmm

Easy To Sprout..Delicious..Perfect For First Timer Sprouters
These are fantastic, versatile sprouting seeds. Perfect for first time sprouters with their wonderful mild taste with just a hint of spice from the radish. Very high germination ratio so very little waste. I use the Easy Sprout Sprouter which I purchased here and is invaluable to me. Literally on day two I see little roots peeking out. I rinse once or twice a day and vigerously shake excess water out. After a few more days the sprouts are a pretty good size so I move them to my OXO Mini Salad and Herb Spinner which I also purchased on Amazon. First I put the sprouts in the outer bowl and fill it with cool water, swish every thing around to break up clumps so all the hulls float to the top where I can just pour them off. Next I move the sprouts to the inner slotted bowl and spin out the excess water. At this point I just leave the sprouts in the spinner sitting on the counter for a day or so, being sure to rinse once or twice a day. When the sprouts are the size I like I put the spinner in the frig, rinse once a day, and eat all the sprouts I want with sandwiches, in salads, mixed with a little tomato and dressing, and even on top of a bowl of certain soups for a little crunch. The combinations are endless. Sprouting has now become sooo quick and easy with my system it's effortless. I always have fresh nutritious sprouts on hand.

Not the same Sprout House Salad Mix as before.
These Sprouts House Salad Mix seeds were very easy to sprout in jars in my kitchen. Seemingly 100% of the seeds sprouted and they grew quickly...almost too quickly to eat them all in time! Also, 1 pound of seeds is A LOT of sprouts.Unfortunately, I had bought a bag of Sprout House Salad Mix seeds many years ago and then recently decided to buy another bag because I was craving that delicious mix, especially the spicy little pink radish sprouts. Sadly, this recent bag does not have any pink sprouts and no spicy radish kick. It has daikon radish seeds instead which, as far as I can tell, just blends in with the flavor of the other sprouts in the mix.I am a little disappointed but only because I'm comparing it to the prior bag of seeds. These sprouts are still fine and good, just not what I remembered and hoped for. I will try to find some good radish seeds to mix in with these excellent seeds and maybe re-create what I remember.

Fast growing & tasty.
I love these. They grow so quickly and have been great on my sandwiches and as a topper on baked eggs and salads. I'm going to cut back from the 2 table spoons recommended to 1.5. The jar is jammed full with 2 Table spoons. I've been using plastic lids that I bought on Amazon which have very tiny holes. No escapee seeds. A bonus has been to leave the lid on and put the jar in the fridge on its side. The sprouts have been staying fresh for days!

Tons of sprouts!
These are great sprouts. The radish seeds produce a spicy sprout which is quite yummy! Watch how much you add to your sprouted as they pretty much all sprouted and overwhelmed my sprouting jar. But so, so good! I truly recommend these for delicious sprouts!

Sprouting successfully
Ordered this mix from the Sprout House after Todd's Seeds had sold out. My container of sprouts also lacked a seal, but I'm usually happy about minimalist packing anyway. Someone more knowledgeable about the company can correct me on this, but I just assumed the seeds are fresh enough that a seal isn't necessary, as it would be if the product had first been shipped to a grocery store and sat on the shelf for a few weeks before being bought.Onto the most important point: The seeds have a high germination rate. I've been sprouting them in a tray sprouter and it seems that 95% of the seeds will germinate. The sprouts grow vigorously and have a fresh, slightly-sweet-slightly-spicy taste to them. IMO, the mix is versatile for any recipe you'd want to use sprouts in. This seed mixture is now my go-to mix, as I love them in sandwiches, soups, and salads (try having them with Annie's Naturals Shiitake and Sesame Vinaigrette dressing, along with fetuccini noodles tossed with the same dressing).
