Kindle Paperwhite Amazon exclusive Water-Safe Cover, The Hunger Games (Original)

This is an awesome case. I love how it looks and everything. Unfortunately, I had it propped up on my desk and it gently fell over onto my spiral notebook. Now there are gouges on the front of the cover from where it hit the spiral. So super cute but not very durable.

This Kindle cover has accessories you probably didn't know you need, the greatest of which is that it turns your Kindle On and off, just by opening and closing it, like a book. No more searching for the tiny On and off button!!!The next great thing about it is that the back cover is magnetic, so if you turn the cover to the back, it's MUCH easier to hold your Kindle. No slipping out of your hand!!! I used to carry my Kindle in a Crown Royal bag, which made it thick and slippery. Now it's slim and attractive, and the bright color of the Song Bird and Snake makes it easy to find your Kindle among the rubble on your desk. GIFT yourself. You're worth it!

The cover has sharp edges which makes it uncomfortable to hold for extended periods of time. An obvious oversight which should have been noticed early in the development and manufacture process.

I am hoping that I will change my mind on this kindle, but at this point I am about ready to return it. I am trying to read a book I began and it will not go to the book in my library. Instead it sends me to books it wants me to consider purchasing! And I paid extra to avoid advertisements!! I am very displeased.

Love this cover. Kindle fits snugly so no worry it will fall out. It wakes up my kindle easily. It’s easy to handle and not heavy

I really, really wanted this to work. For me, there is just NO replacement for paper. I love my paperback books. I will continue to lug them around, because this paperwhite experience is so awful - I hated it. It's very sad, so many people like this option. It's just terrible - it's really no different than reading a book on your TV. Why would you do it? Makes no sense. I made a poor purchase, don't make the same mistake I did.E-books - please go away. Thank you.

I was super excited to get this case for my new kindle. It feels nice, looks great, and does its job. My biggest problem is that it doesn’t hold up well. The cover is peeling off after having it for around six months. There has been no abuse to the case that would cause this. So I’m very disappointed in that. It would be a five star case otherwise. But the quality of the print is very upsetting. My cheap case for my old kindle still looked brand new and I’d had it for years. Oh well. It was great while it lasted.

My kindle was a Christmas present originally. I had it for 5 years. During that time, my kindle was always wherever I was until it fell off the top of my truck and was broken. This is my second paperwhite. The first one seemed larger, but this one is just perfect. My spouse says it was the best gift he ever gave because I'm reading on it every time he sees me. I've no idea how many total books I've read on my Kindle, but it must be in the hundreds. When I've had problems, but folks on the help line are great. I have always been a reader but it's constant now. I leave it in the bathroom when I go to bed so it will be at hand first thing in the morning. The last thing I do before retiring it checking the charge to see if it is need of one and I keep a charger in the room where I leave it over night so it's ready in the morning. I wouldn't want a different reader.
