Victure Smart Lock - Keyless Entry with App & Touchpad, Easy Installation, Works with Existing Deadbolt, Space Gray

This smart lock is very similar to the August smart lock concept, but with even easier installation. Many of the smart locks requires removing the lock completely or partially to install. This Victure smart lock allows you to install without touching the existing lock! Hence it's perfect for someone who rents the house without worrying about damaging or re-installing the old lock when the lease is up.This smart lock actually works with common deadbolt locks and, yes, mortise locks too! However, one major thing the company doesn't mention is, the lock knob needs to be SYMMETRIC! This is VERY important, as the design of the smart lock is to rotate the knob so that it can lock/unlock. I have uploaded the picture to show what I mean.The keypad is very sensitive which is good, and it can be installed anywhere outside. One thing they don't tell you is, you DON'T need to install the keypad if you don't want to, in case you're afraid people will take it or something. It's completely optional. You can simply use your phone (with the app) to lock/unlock the smart lock. But if you do that, make sure your phone always have battery, or else you'll lock yourself out.Overall, I really like the lock since the installation is easy and is compatible with many deadbolt locks. And you can install the lock horizontally or vertically as you see fit. I got this for my new apartment. I was a little nervous about the install process since my apartment are older and I wasn’t sure how difficult it would be. But it was actually very easy and I didn’t need any extra tools to complete it! And I didn’t need to remove my previous deadbolt or nob! I will give a few tips for installing the actual lock. When using the guide to line it with the dead bolt, don’t just immediately press the housing on, I’d recommend marking where it is said to be placed on the door and then test with the lock to make sure there is no interference or it can actually turn the lock with out difficulty. Really just be patient with it, it’s not difficult you just want it to be straight so you don’t have to realign. (Trust me you don’t want to do that lol) It comes with 3 different options for going around the actual deadbolt and each option can raise or lower to accommodate different bolts styles, so it should be able to fit basically any type of lock style.***Also you will need 6 AA batteries. ***Over all I really like this, it makes going on runs or walking my dog easier since I don’t have to carry my keys. The APP is very easy to use and pairing it with the device is super quick. My only complaint is I wish it would tell you on the app if your door was locked or unlocked. But if I’m like in bed and concerned I didn’t lock it I just can tell it to lock again and it will either lock or just stay the same.If you need to move the devices after it’s been installed you’ll need a straight edge or something thin to wedge it out. I made the mistake of not aligning it correctly. BUT this bad boy is secure on the door! It is not going anywhere unless you want it too!

However I been hesitant because of the installation process on some of these locks. I didn't want to mess with the lock or do anything extra and this lock solved my problem. Super easy installation with no tools required. I can use the app now to create virtual keys so my family can now enter anytime once I give them the key code.I recommend this lock to anyone who wants a quick and easy installation without taking out your existing lock apart.There are different heads that you can change out to fit your deadbolt so make sure you try them all out and you'll need 6 AA batteries.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It was easy to set up. I just had to register in their Gimdow app and connect to the main unit. After the main unit was set up I was able to add the keypad as accessory. Keypad has 6 digit passwords, but can add random number before and after your code so possible observers will not see your real password while unlocking (they call it anti-peep function) which is quite neat. Manual locking from inside is very smooth and the lock looks great. The sticky pads holds very well, I actually wanted to use alcohol wipes to clean the door before sticking it, but then I forgot , but it still hold perfectly. Something to be aware regarding the Bluetooth lock/unlock, you have to have their app and be registered to use it. So if you want to give temporary access to visitors, they have to register with the app as well. After that it is super easy to give them the access by using the email they registered with. It is great that you can set date/time for which the access is allowed. Also adding and removing new 6 digit codes to the keypad is very fast and easy. You can give a name for each code to know who you gave it to. Overall I am happy with purchase.

設置して３日は動いていましたが、キーを回す部分が回転しなくなりました。小さなモーター音の様な音はしますが回転部分はフリーの状態です。スマホからもキーパッドから操作しても動作しません。
