Needs external mounting brackets
Area to connect wires very tight. Mounting holes are internal and almost impossible to get to after wiring.

Best Value in an RV box
In my opinion this is the best box to have for an RV. Enough space on the inside to plug in a surge protector and be able to lock the box. Going to replace the lock that came with it as that one is a bit on the weak side. Would be better if they provide a more robust lock, one with hardened shank that can not be cut easily with bolt cutters. Very good value for the buck.

My first foray into the world of RV/boat type of electrics and I am deeply impressed. This box COMES WITH the receptacle (which is not apparent In the description). The design is brilliant! No removing knock-outs, no drilling or enlarging connector openings - which are waterproof. Materials are very heavy duty. Ground connection is already done. My only gripe is the slots could grip the plug blades a little more tightly but this issue could be due to the slippery chrome-plated blades on the Chevy Bolt charge unit. This box is on another level - well done!

50A RV Outlet box
Not easy to connect 4 @ 60amp cables into the box! Otherwise excellent.

Anticipate difficulty removing knockout, otherwise excellent construction.
The box is constructed of heavy grade metal (plus). The knockout was more difficult to remove by “knocking out” due to thickness of material; I had to actually cut out the hole with a small metal cutting wheel on rotary tool (minus).
