I bought this for my father who lives in an apartment with an electric stove, which he hates. He doesn't cook much, but prefers heating the kettle over fire, and he loves this. Easy ignition (turn and click), easy fuel swap, easy to move, if desired. Heats his kettle much faster than the electric burner. I like it well enough I think I'll get one (perhaps try another make & model) for an emergency kit. These types of stove all work essentially the same (burner quality is probably the most important aspect to consider), but he liked the design & curves of this one. The burner is not bad. One caveat - The compatible butane fuel canisters (8.0 or 8.8 oz) seem to be in short supply lately. Most local places (sporting and outdoor, walmart, etc.) that normally carry them are all out and they don't know when they'll get more. I was lucky to find a can locally, but even that store hasn't gotten any more in since I apparently grabbed their last one.
