Alumicutter, 24inch Straight-Edge Ruler, Silver

I love this for cutting glass in perfectly straight lines. Due to the non-slip backing, it stays firmly on my workbench without sliding around and causing my score lines to become less than perfect. I bought this in both 12" and 24" sizes and use both for my stained glass projects.My first 24" ruler was slightly damaged when I received it, but a replacement was sent immediately. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic ruler. I use it when I'm creating mockups at home and I'm using a Xacto blade. It has a finger guard on it so that you don't cut yourself as well as a squishy part on the other side of the ruler so it doesn't easily slide. It works exactly as intended and its got a good weight to it to. I'd highly recommend this ruler for you.

I'm using this for foam board RC planes, and it is just about perfect for the task. It doesn't slip, and the guide both protects my fingers and provides a nice vertical surface for the blade. The one issue is that the non-slip material doesn't go to the edge of the ruler; there's a 2mm gap. So for cuts where there is not much foam or paper on one side, the material can crinkle under the gap, causing an uneven cut.

This thing is incredible. Safe to use with your fingers when working on crafts. The groove helps protect your fingers from any cutting.Great investment in an all metal ruler.Would buy again.

This was EXACTLY what I needed. I needed a tool that I would allow me to cut along a straight line without harm coming to my fingers. The Alumicutter has a "finger guard" that is raise enough that your box cutter or blade can run along the edge of the ruler without fear to it slipping. It helps make clean, straight cuts. The metal is durable yet flexible. The Alumicutter is already an indispensable tool in my crafting arsenal!

I love this as a straight edge for cutting notebooks and paper with a razor knife. It has a nice raised edge that keeps my fingers safe. The padded bottom side stays in place nicely when in use. However, the padded bottom is not super durable if not stored properly.

You may think that one ruler is as good as any other; this ruler will change your mind. It is sturdy, has nice aesthetics, but the best part is that it has a channel for your fingers so you don't slip and accidentally cut yourself. If you use x-acto knifes, I highly recommend this.

I bought this ruler for my husband and he loves it. It has a safeguard on one edge so he doesn't have to worry about cutting himself with the X-acto.He'd recommend it; it's the best ruler he's ever used in 45 years.
