The Pilgrim's Progress: A Guided Tour, Teaching Series Study Guide

This is a classic t should be read at least once by everyone. I have read it several times over the years and like this publication and have purchased it as a gift.

If you reading or studying Pilgrim's Progress than this is worthy it. You will be very happy you have this booklet.

We are using Dr. Thomas's lectures as a part of the 19-week book study in our church on Pilgrim's Progress. He is an outstanding Bunyan scholar and makes this 17th century allegorical tale come to life for us today. This Guided Tour adds so much to our group discussion and Christian discovery!

I needed a copy of Pilgrim's Progress with both parts 1 and 2 and in both the original and a modern translation. This appeared to fit the bill. I like how the left column of each page is the original and the right column, highlighted in gray, is the modern version. I compared the translation to the original and was satisfied with the reliability of the translation. What I couldn't see from looking online is that there are no chapter divisions as in other versions, no notes on the passages, and the name of the translator or even the publisher. How odd is that

I returned these as it was not what I was expecting. I was looking for a study that looked helped me dig deeper into my faith. What I got felt like a textbook for a college lecture course. Not my style but might be what someone else is looking for.

Study guide came faster than expected and is in great condition. I could not be happier with my purchase!
