Great for early season
These pants are very light weight and will be nice especially for early season. Typical Columbia high quality at a reasonable price.

Work really well
I was so pleasantly surprised! These pants are thin and light and I wasn't expecting them to work well but they arrived right before my hunting trip and were what I had.. Let me tell you, they are woven super tight and the thorns and nastys of the West Texas desert did NOT puncture them. They would be especially good in the HOT summer desert as they were super light.I will purchase again.Well worth it!

Nice pants, but sizing is quite a bit off.
31x33 jeans fit me perfect from the vast majority of brands, but since most brands don't sell odd sizes like that I usually have to decide between 30x32-32x34. Due to other reviews saying waist is smaller and length is longer than advertised I thought the 32x32 would fit well, but its still too small in the waist. Length is spot on for the 33" long I like. Ordering a 34x32 now to see how that works out...Haven't worn them in the field yet, but first impressions are really good. Its much lighter weight than your typical denim briar pants, but the fabric feels very tough and a quick test throwing some sandburs at it is promising. These look to be the perfect pants for the warmer first month of upland hunting.

Light tough pants
These were very comfortable and fit great. They tough enough to go through the brush , cactus and briars of eastern Montana! Would definitely buy again

Too small
I should have followed the other reviewers suggestion and gone up a size. I wear a solid 34x32 and these won't even button. I used to reorder and size up but now if clothes don't fit I just return and move on. its not worth the multiple trips to the shipping place to return them.On a positive note they did appear top be exactly what I wanted as far as briar/bramble pants.

Very Poor Durability
I have had a few pieces of Columbia gear I have had over the years, and very much liked them. I picked these pants up for upland hunting, mostly in sage flats and pretty easy terrain. When I got them, I was not super impressed. First, they run small. I would recommend sizing up. They were light, but not very breathable. I am not sure what the material is, but I noticed that when I started to sweat on hot days, the pants would stick to my legs. I wore them for the fifth time this season last week. They lasted about a mile and half before splitting from the fly to almost halfway down my thigh. I was pretty dissapointed to pay $65 for an upland pant that lasted four hunts before splitting. I am reaching out to the company for a warranty and will update this review when I find how they respond.

Great tough pant woah!
They are thin and light which it's great for early season, material feels cooling.Very rugged you can tell the second you get them, had them out several trips.I wore the them in sub zero (ten below) conditions with rubbers and long Johns (merino) and was warm well below zero. I was moving though, very active with dog (6 hours 19km).Only downside is they are made of rugged non stretchable material (also why you need them) so they are hard to get over boots; and personally are somewhat restrictive for me (minimally). I have very big legs/butt and a small waist comparatively 27 inch legs, 34 waist (36 x32 ordered) to compensate.

Great hunting pants
Great hunting pants. I can go hunt small games and come back without bleeding from all the thorns and briars encountered in the ‘dirty’ part of the woods.

Brush pant
Light weight pant works well for upland hunting. Needs to have the brush barrier extend higher on the back of the pant for the times when you have to back up.
