Alpha Industries Men's G-1 Leather Military Flight Jacket

it is too small for my husband. but since i come from china. it is difficult to change one..so, that is so so.....

I am 6'0 tall and have a pretty long torso. The arms on this jacket are perfect (long). I do wish it was a tad longer in length (torso), but overall it fits like most of these jackets do. I got the XL. Usually I wear a 46 to provide for a bit of room in the shoulder/chest area. This is what this is like. If you want the traditional fit (tight) you might size down. The goat skin that this jacket is made of is of good quality. If you are unfamiliar with goat skin, it is a pretty light leather, but also very strong. So don't be fooled into thinking it is like a thin split cowhide, or like lamb skin, which is remarkably soft but also very easy to tear. To me, this is really the best leather to make a jacket out of--and it is traditionally what they are made out of.

The size chart is very useful, I chose M size and it is good fit for me. The leather jacket is fine. But, what a pity that the zipper’s electroplating peeled off and oxidised.

I ordered a large and I'm 5'11" and 205 lbs - Nice snug fit. I would say this jacket fits great if you are my hight and between 180 - 210 lbs. Good quality light leather, just the right weight and feel. If you want a heavier leather then get a cowhide jacket. I had cowhide before this and it was too heavy for me, although very warm. Delivered in great condition and on time as expected. Looks just like the picture.

The sizing is very inconsistent. I ordered two jackets the same size, one turned out too small and the other one turned out too large.

Fit was exactly per the sizing guide. Finish is outstanding and materials appear to be high quality. Amazon pricing was more than $100 less than the manufacturer's web store.
