Holman Illustrated Bible Handbook, Printed Hardcover

There are many bible handbooks from which to choose. This book has turned out to be a good selection for me. It has a section for each book of the Bible and provides a thorough overview of its contents. It's not for scholarly study, but does discuss different aspects of each book, like how it fits in with Jesus' ministry and the historical background of the book's author. There are many maps, which is very helpful, and lots of photographs relevant to each book's topics and history. I would recommend it (and have) to those studying the Bible.

For each of the 66 books of the Bible, this guide gives you key texts, a key term, a one-sentence summary of each chapter (book), The charts, pictures, and maps help you summarize the chapters and realize the purpose of the message of each book

easy read and understand for those who like studying or teaching bible study

Very nice love it

This bible hand book is nice but remember it is a concise version, so not 5 volumes of information. But worth the price.

I love the pictures and depth of information found in this Holman Handbook.

Many of the people in our church carry the Holman Bible. I, as their Pastor, wanted them to have a great study tool as well!
