How soft is the memory foam? Does it give easily? Most of the rests I've purchased have been too firm.

It’s not super firm, but also not super soft-definitely not soft like the beanie ones. I really like it. I wouldn’t say my wrist sinks in or anything, but it’s very comfortable.

Will this fabric scratch my watch band?

No. It's very soft and smooth. If anything your watch band might damage it.

How does this wrist pad compare with a beaded wrist pad?

I had a beaded wrist rest prior to this one. This one isn't as soft/doesn't 'mold' as well to one's wrist as the beaded one, but is still comfortable & I'm thinking might be a bit more durable. It took about 4 years or so, but the beads started 'escaping' from my previous rest. Hope this helps.
