This is a great quality mug, but not very good for drinking hot beverages since the metal absorbs the heat of the fluid and becomes too hot to handle. That's not a problem with cold drinks of course. Love the design and the green is the same color as my VW!

It’s a nice metal enamel cup. Does get hot as expected, not microwaveable obviously, but exactly as described.

This is enamel coated metal. It's a bit larger than a standard porcelain coffee mug (more like a camping mug), so I generally only fill it about halfway at a time. The metal rim, therefore, does not get hot. Can't put this in a microwave, however, because it is metallic.

Since the mug is metal it gets way to hot and it burns your lips.
