The Woods Yearbook Edition Book One

Just started getting into James Tynion and loving his independent content. He's won me over with Something is Killing the Children and especially with Department of Truth so I wanted more. Never see the trades for this series in my local comic shops so I took a chance on the Deluxe trade editions. Super happy it's paid off. A real page turner. Ordered vol 2&3 of these yearbook editions to complete the series.

It's about a high school being teleported to an alien world and the students trying to survive on it, while dealing with some of the usual teen age drama and the people that are already there.

The quality of the physical book and packaging was great - I haven't read it, but my son gives it five stars for creativity, plot, intrigue.

I had the first graph, which I really enjoyed. So, I bought this, unfortunately, as soon as the kids find other humans, it becomes rather predictable. I won’t be buying any more.
