Just what my water heater needed

These are just what I needed and appear to be well made. But customers need to know that leak-free SS to SS threaded connections are problematic. The SS is harder than brass or steel and prone to galling. Using only the thin white thread tape is likely to produce some leaks. In my experience, thick gray thread tape AND pipe dope were needed to get reliably leak-proof connections.

Good quality fit and finish, worked well and cost is the equivalent of lesser items at the local stores. Clean threads that sealed well, again a good quality item.

Difficult to avoid water leaks when connecting to another SS fitting, even with Teflon tape. Possible thread galling? OK when threaded into a brass fitting.
