I purchased a bottle of the Crappie Attractant in 2014 and only used it once that year, thinking it didn't make a difference. During the summer of 2015 I was catching Crappie and they turned off, so, after trying different jigs with no luck, I figured what the heck, let's try the attractant. It produced fish! Since that time I have used it on almost every cast and have yet to get skunked after using it. Even though I do use it on minnows, like the first time it worked, my primary baits are waxworms & maggots and they always get a "dab" before every cast. I find it very effective on Bluegills, especially using glow jigs after dark. On days when the fish are finicky I think it not only entices them to bite, they hold on to the bait longer. I don't work out of the bottle that the attractant comes in, instead I transfer it to a 4 oz. (glass) eye dropper bottle and work out of that. I actually don't use the eye dropper proper, I use it more of a dauber.

It just works, I don't usually support the use of attractants but this one does work.

Update - 8/24 I used it couple more times since the original review. After "marinating" for days, some lures seemed to absorb it better and did get follow-on bites. So I added a star. [August 16, 2019] It seems to neutralize odors on the lures but don't attract. The spiked lures get initial tentative bites, but they don't cause second bites much. In comparison, the scent is quite different from that of Powerbait lures, which is effective. Will continue to use up the bottle.

I didn’t catch any fish using this but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good product.

We use this on plastic bait and it works great! Ordering another bottle as we are almost out!

Adding this scent on my crappie jigs seems to make a difference. Outfished my buddy.

Well I wanted Bass attract. My own mistake ordered crappie attract. Didn’t return decided to keep. Love this brand
