I purchased this cake pan to use as a water bath for my cheesecakes. It’s 10” so my 9” springform pan fits perfectly inside. Then I put both into a roasting pan with water in it. Way better than having to wrap the pan in foil each time and hope that it doesn’t leak. Sorry that I really can’t speak of the scratch resistance but I can tell you for what I use it for, there are no scratches on it. Hope that helped

Nice and not flimsy

I'm a pastry chef and I bake quite a bit with these, they're lightweight and reliable, and I always look for this brand when I'm purchasing bake-ware that I expect to last. These don't rust even with deep scratches, and even though they may get a bit discolored overtime, they're still perfectly functional and will provide you with consistent results and light cakes. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a quality product.

Used once so far - but they feel nice and heavy and good quality. Have used the fat daddio pans as well and these seem comparable for a lower price. Cakes came out evenly baked.
