I'm giving it five stars since it's my fault for not noticing the length of the wires. This battery's wires were too short for my Dell laptop.

My mini PC had one of these that had failed, and it would cause the PC to reset the CMOS on every boot, which would take a minute or two when rebooting rather than the usual 15 seconds. Once I figured out that it was caused by the CMOS backup battery, I found this replacement and it worked perfectly. I can't speak to longevity as I've only had it in the PC for about a month, but I did test it with a multimeter and it had the expected voltage when it arrived.

Fits Dell Latitude e7440 laptop as promised. Arrived fully charged at 3.2 volts. Made in Japan. Adhesive underneath peel-off sticker. Installs with the two small white plastic "ribs" on battery connector UP.

Using a dell latitude E6420 laptop, realizing that it wasn't keeping the time, and needed to get new CMOS battery, and this one worked perfectly.

it isn't that hard to pop the back off and swap out this battery. And now my laptop is functioning like new again (for a very small price.)
