Great TV - only one small grumble -
It’s just great - does everything it’s supposed to and more. Only slight grumble is that Panasonic don’t seem to have an app for the Disney channel, so we’re still having to access that from our PS4.

Panasonic it does what it says on the box
I have never strayed too far from Panasonic TV's since the 1990's. Again not disappointed with the set up or indeed anything superb piece of kit.

A good mid-range 58" 4K TV for the price
I have had this smart TV now for over a month and while I have barely tinkered with the settings I have to say that I am pretty impressed with it's straight out of the box setup and performance. Its paired with a Sky Q box and budget Panasonic 4K player and delivers very nice contrast and colours, with no discernible motion processing flaws. Watching UHD programmes on Sky in particular was eye opening. SDR content was less impressive. A UHD disc like Bladerunner 2049 was less immersive, but I have yet to experiment with settings. So far I opted to rely on the TV'S speakers which appear to be 10W units. And for the most part they do the job. Not so much bass but a good overall balance. Obviously a soundbar would be a vast improvement if like me you enjoy the depth and layers to a good Hans Zimmer soundtrack. It's early days so far but from delivery to set up (approx an hour) nothing has gone wrong. It arrived in one piece and as you can imagine the box and packaging is considerable. It kept it safe, no damage in transit. But it's the sort of packaging that if you're going to keep for moving or returns then you'll have to store in a spare room/under a bed/garage or shed, etc. The stand is basic and easy to assemble. A mix of metal and plastic with what I initially thought were some flimsy screws. However, the weight seems to lock everything in place and now seems sturdy enough. There is no adjustment in the stand and the screen leans back at a slight angle. Not an issue for me as I have it on a low platform. It can of course be wall mounted if you have the ideal room layout. Narrow bezels and reasonably thin panel make it look more premium than what it is, which is an edge lit LCD towards the lower end of Panasonic's range. The only negatives I have so far is that the blacks could be deeper. But again it's a low to mid range LCD. I could spend double and get a far superior 55" OLED with deep inky blacks, but realistically that's out of my budget. Also out of the box I had to upgrade the software to get access to Disney+ and Prime Video apps. But this is more down to the Sky Q interface pushing it's own services. The remote is big, boxy, and full featured, certainly not compact. But I dont really mind it. This model is also a little pricier than it's predecessor but again probably worth it. I originally ignored this TV from my shortlist because I wanted a 55" TV and this came in 50", 58", and 65" models. However, after reading some online reviews (such as WHAT HI FI) I re measured and realised I could just about accommodate this size screen, and am glad I did. Overall, I think this is a very good mix of size, spec, and price.I bought this TV using Amazon's interest free installment option. Which I have not used before. First installment has gone with no issues. Communication of the terms and installments was quick and clear.

Very happy with it
Not an AV geek but the picture looks great to me, and the built in sound is really impressive. Setup was real easy and the stand is nice and solid. Haven't used the smart features much because I have a Shield which is always going to be better but the guided setup there was easy anyway.
