I bought this hat on a whim, but I have used it a TON since it came in last summer. I garden and spend a lot of time outside all summer, so keeping cool and protecting myself from the sun is important. I'm not usually a hat person, so I feel silly wearing it sometimes, but I have received SO many compliments - especially when I wear it to the pool. I most recently packed it for a beach resort vacation, so glad I brought it! It is nice and light-weight, and held up really well in the suitcase. It isn't too big, but enough to provide a good amount of shade on my face, neck, and shoulders. The ribbon adds a nice touch and helps keep it on even in the breeze.

This is the perfect ladies boater hat! It did come bent, but steamed out so easily! I added my own flowers and ribbon and it completed my Spring Dapper Day ensemble!

The crown of the hat is way too shallow. It is cute but looks kind of goofy on sand doesn't offer any sun protection

The hat is too big around to stay on my small head, even when I ty the ribbons. The straw also pulls my hair. I would have returned it, except I sort of lost it in my house for a bit. Now it's too late so I use it as decor.

This hat runs large , i bought the smallest size Brim and crown are too big but it is made with straw braid so I easily made the hat smaller . Just clip the outer layer seam and it easily unravels when pulled. I can make it work for what I want . I will use the left over braid that I removed to play around with making a smaller hat . Great price and fairly fast shipping thanks !

Het is perfect. A little more than I expected not at all flimsy. Perfect for that ad lib Victoriiana look and adjustable worth the wait.
