Moo: Lift the flap board book

My 11 month old has been with this book for few months now and still excited by it, great big flaps to open and peek-a-boo. Love the illustrations in all the series, well made and fun for the baby weather to read with or to explore on their own.

Another beautiful little book to add to our series , my 5 months old baby girl likes touching the pages when we open the flaps. We have the whole collection of Pat-a-cake baby books now. We were looking at those books together since she was 1 month old and they still amuse her. Definitely recommend any of them to start with. You will end up like me, with the whole collection.

Our 2 month old loves this book and focuses on it really well :) the contrasts are great and the quality of the book perfect for young kids (pages nice and thick), would definitely recommend!

This book is very engaging and colourfully illustrated.Each page shows a farm animal, with their paws/hoofs folded on their face and the child needs to move the flap and their face will appear, showing them how the game peak-a-boo is played. It also encourages the child to name the animals, as well as make their sounds.The animals in the book are a cow, sheep, goat, duck, horse. My child loves playing peek-a-boo and flaps in books. 'Moo' combines the two in a fun way that also has them interacting with animals. The idea of the flaps in 'Moo' is simple, but something I have not seen before. Each page has a different animal holding their hands over their eyes. These hands are the flaps, pull them apart and you get a peek-a-boo. It is a great concept and works perfectly.The book is a hardback and each page is thick card. The flaps are also large and sturdy, making them difficult to rip of bend. Add to this you are also invited to speak to the animal in their own language. A great way of teaching your child different animals sounds. This book is perfect for an older baby or young toddler who is just starting to interact with life and books. It is colourful, sturdy, fun and with a premise that they can understand. Champion.

Our two old enjoyed this. There aren't loads of pages as they're so thick. However, each page has a fun animal and follows a simple pattern that is easy for them to join in with. They can even make simple predictions such as what sound each animal might make before they lift the pop out flaps to see. What animal is it? What sound will they make? Peek-a-boo! The pages and pop out sections are very sturdy so should take lots of use. Fun.
