Awesome
Excellent upgrade for a traxxas 4x4 project. The fit and smooth performance is top of the line. Price is acceptable. Seems to be a lot better and less noise than the cheaper ones. If you want to upgrade then this should be your first choice.

Works great, better than the stock center drive shaft.
Installed it just how the instructions say to do it. Been running this center drive shaft on 3s with a 4 pole motor for about 4 or 5 months. I run it on the street, dirt, grass, anything and no issues at all. It actually survived a 50 mph front impact straight into a steel stop sign post. Didn't warp, bend, not even a scratch on it so those little O rings that go inside the drive cups do their jobs as shock absorbers. The dog bones show no signs of wear at all, but the front dog bone might slightly rub on the bottom of the front chassis where the steering rack is. It'll make a faint rubbing noise for the first few runs but it'll eventually wear in and go away. You could lightly sand that area of the chassis or just let it do it on it's own. The amount of material that it wears off is not much at all. About the thickness of a sheet of paper, if that. So no worries at all. In the end, this center drive shaft is stronger than the stock center drive shaft and it slides back and forth without any binding, unlike the stock center drive shaft. Which is why the stock one gets bent sometimes. It can bind up pretty easy, not letting it slide back and forth during chassis flexing and it causes it to get bent. Love my Tekno Big Bone center drive shaft so if you're thinking about it, go for it.

Save some down time and get this driveshaft
This Big Bone center drive shaft is a must have on your Traxxas Slash 4wd. Why is it better than the stock blue tube that comes on your car? One simple reason, it isn't going to bend when you run head on into a wall. If you have raced the stock drive shaft for very long, you will eventually take a head on collision into the wall. You are going to here some clanking noises and you will notice the color is coming off of the shaft ain bright shiny rings at some point on your car. When you see or hear these things, it is bent and it is time to replace. This drive shaft has small o-rings that slide into the ends and act as a shock absorber for the center rod when the front gets impacted. We have had several more head on collisions into the wall and this thing is holding up pretty well. It has not bent yet. The only thing that has happened is we have lost a small set screw, but I am guessing this was due to my son not getting it tight enough when he put this drive shaft on his car. Great little upgrade that will save you some money and down time on the track. The company also emailed me to make sure it was working out for me, which I appreciate.
