A fun creative toy
I love toys that are multifunctional and this is a great example of one. While you get a toy you can use over and over again, I also like that my daughter was able to decorate the ice cream cart how she wanted with the included markers.

Creative art project! Unique and fun!
This is a unique toy that allows my young daughter to color her own ice cream cart! The fabric on the cart washes very easy, so they really can be creative and color it differently time after time. It's very cute and my daughter plays with it as a doll accessory too. She likes to take it apart and rebuild it herself. The quality is excellent and should last a very long time.

love this!
I am a huge fan of these wonder makers toys, my boys (7, 5, 3) LOVE them and have spent so much time with these. They got their first set about a year ago and they are still used a lot. When I saw that there was an ice cream truck I jumped on that because my kids (for some really odd reason) think that the ice cream truck music is AMAZING. They ask me to play it for them on the daily so they can have their weird little kid dance parties. Anyhow, needless to say, this toy is a hit. I'm getting ice cream deliveries every morning. It's great fun. My only issue is if you have littles, the marker situation isn't my favorite. Although I think it's very clever to have your kids color their own ice cream banner, it just doesn't translate to real life kids. The markers do bleed just a bit on the material, but no big deal. When washing off, it does leave a slight mark, very light, but I can tell it's there. Again, no big deal. The problem is my kids lose markers all the time. And also I don't want them thinking they can draw all over their toys. I'd say if you have a responsible kid, then the marker situation would be just fine. But again, I don't know many responsible five yr olds. But your kid is probably more mature than all of mine put together. In all honestly, this is a fantastic toy! The wondermakers have brought my three children so much joy and I love how it's fostering their creativity and teamwork skills.

So cute
We really like craft kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. It is nice because they can spend the time doing it and then they have something special to keep. They are excited when they make something themselves. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy.I thought it was age appropriate. It wasn’t too hard. The children really liked how it turned out.I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift.I would recommend it.

Disappointed
Oh, Fisher Price, you let me down. We have all of the other Wonder Maker sets and love them. Truly love them. This set totally disappoints. The small plastic sign pieces are cheaply made and hard to insert into the wooden holes. Definitly made more cheaply than other sets. The hitch for the cart is nearly impossible to get on, I dont know how a child could do it without adult help. With the markers, please note that you have to wash them off within 48 hours. So parents, you need to oversee even this set gets picked up. It does take some scrubbing and effort to remove the colors. So upset that this set doesn't match the value of the others. Very let down.

I really thought it to be different.
I really imagined it to be more interesting than it actually turned out to be, for me at least. So it comes with quite a few small pieces to assemble into an ice cream store and cart - the sizes are much smaller than I imagined, and the only thing that is washable is a cloth piece that goes on top of the ice cream cart - the other colorable piece is paper and cannot be re-colored. If you want to find toys that can be colored I highly recommend Scribbles - my daughter got a set on her birthday and she loved it. This set is really OK for any purposes. A bit disappointed.I attached some pictures to show how miniature they are... I was hoping for something larger and more sturdy. But oh well... It wasn't easiest to assemble either. Not for my 3 yo, or me. I had to follow the instructions and it didn't seem fun.

Fun while they color but doesn't transition to play very well.
I like the concept of something that can be colored over and over again. I think this is a very cute little set but once colored my kiddos don't really want to play with the icecream set. They use it solely for coloring purposes. I think maybe if they coupled it with a small doll, not just a cut out of a doll then maybe it would transition into a playset for kids also. The washable canopy washes pretty clean, never looks brnad new again but that is to be expected. It is priced under $15 so its in line with similar products.
