When I ordered 1kg hulled barley I got with husk i was so disappointed i had to return. But again I placed the order for 3kg and it is perfectly good hulled barley. I got i wanted. You need to dust out the husk pieces, otherwise it's too good.

Blackish seeds
Hulled barley is healthy and has a lot of fiber. Also I love the taste and texture as a substitute for rice/roti.The first time when I ordered 5kg it was ok quality (occasional small stones). But the second time it had lots of blackish seeds mixed in with the normal ones (see photo). It looks spoiled.I don't think I can bring myself to eat this. YUK!
