I used this for an audio receiver for my back porch. Worked perfectly. Only issue was the receiver being a bit taller than the opening. However, this was easily fixed by removing the rubber seal and unscrewing the front bevel. I attached the receiver to a piece of plywood so it would sit above the bevel from the inside and then replaced the bevel and seal.

Fits our boat radio perfect. Lid lifts easily.

Ease of installation

I just installed this in the cuddy cabin of my boat. Because it is out of the weather I discarded the rubber plugs in the back, but if it had been mounted outside they would have come in handy. The radio fit perfectly into the case (too perfectly. It was a struggle to get the radio back out after I put it in to test the fit.) and I was able to flip the case in the mounting bracket. There was plenty of room in the rear of the case to fold the excess wiring into, and the cover has a wide, flat (about a 1/16" thick) rubber gasket to help prevent water leaking in. The gasket may need some adhesive to keep in in place in the future.If I was mounting the unit on the outside I'm not sure how well it would hold up, but for my needs, it is perfect.

Returned item due to it being too large for the application. It is a nice enclosure but unless you have a good deal of space to install, recommend a smaller enclosure or flush mount.

The media could not be loaded. Looks new and holds a radio get good service on the moon

Will used this to mount in our golf cart and it worked perfectly. We have had no issues.
