My daughter’s friends were all using the essence Volume Booster Lash Primer Mascara, and she just had to have it too. She absolutely loves it and now won’t go without it! This mascara primer works wonders – it really makes her lashes look longer and fuller, giving her that perfect, voluminous look. The formula, infused with Mango Butter and Acai Oil, keeps her lashes feeling nurtured and conditioned, which is a huge plus. I’m also happy to know it’s vegan, paraben-free, and cruelty-free. I bought the mascara primer and black mascara together. I have sparse, short eyelashes, so expectations weren't high for either item. Wow, was I wrong! The white mascara primer went on well and once completely dried, (2 mins fanning lashes w a card) I applied the mascara. My lashes truly looked fantastic & long! Love these products. I especially appreciate the mascara with the raised gripper on the handle for easy open & close. TIP: I initially didn't wait long enough for white primer to fully dry. As a result, the mascara would flake off & leave tiny BLACK mascara pieces on my face. Make sure your primer is FULLY DRIED B4 applying mascara to prevent primer flaking. Highly recommend these products! 👍🏻

I've used a handful of mascara primers and this one is perfectly fine. It works! If you apply this white primer to lashes, wait about 1½ minutes, apply your first quick coat of a lengthening and/or volumizing mascara, you'll be well on your way to looking like you have falsies on. Don't forget to curl lashes first though. Pump and curl lashes a full 15 seconds with an eyelash curler!Back to the primer---after you've got the first coat of mascara on to cover the primer, you'll want to wait another 1½ to 2 minutes and apply a second coat of a *different* mascara... It's not so important that it's the best of the best, but why not get a good one that differs slightly from your first mascara. Grab one that's meant to hold a curl in your lashes or add intense color and volume/etc? There's no hard rules with this.Using two different products has become a life theme for me... It truly does seem to intensify the effectiveness of most products!I took away one star for this primer because of the way the primer applies to the lashes.... I had to learn how to get it to actually go on my lashes. It wasn't coming off much at all until I realized I needed to use the tip of the brush, kind of glob it on and then use the wand to distribute the primer evenly over my lashes.I totally recommend a lash primer to make your life easier in the long run (assuming you want mega lashes.) It's kind of effortless if you follow what I've written here. FYI: I love just about any Lancome or Estee Lauder mascara and I'm currently using Lancome Monsieur Big for my first coat and Benefit Roller Lash for my second coat. Amazing combo!! The Essence Lash Princess is suppose to pair with this primer and I love it too, and it's so affordable.I the waterproof version though, and I only use waterproof mascara occasionally since it's kind of rough on your lashes. It's the removal part that can be harsh. I do wish it plumped more volume, but wow---the length it gives is incredible. I'm sure it would be perfect if paired with a volumizing mascara for the second coat. I hope this helps a little bit.

This is such a great product. I apply it before I apply my black mascara. The white color in the product really let's you see all of your lashes when you apply it. I do 2 coats if I want a dramatic look. I think they nourish your eyelashes also. It's easy to take off with makeup removal. I'll be back to buy more when I'm running low. Overall a great product. I like this brand. It's very affordable and the quality of there items is just as good if not better than my high end expensive products.

It's ok, not as great as L'Oréal eyelash plumber. Just save your money and buy L'Oréal instead.

This primer mascara seems to be just as good as much more expensive brands. I put it on, let it dry for a few minutes & then put the regular mascara on over it. It helps the regular mascara to go on easily & use less. Using less regular mascara means less flaking & less raccoon eyes. It’s a great value for the money. It stays on for at least 4 hrs before a touch up of regular mascara is needed. Defines the lashes & makes it easier to apply regular mascara. It works!

As a blond, my eyelashes are very light colored. And unfortunately my brothers got the long lush eyelashes on our family. Consequently, I need to use lots of mascara. But, that wasn't always enough and I just can't master false eyelashes. So, I was looking for another solution. This eyelash serum is the perfect solution! It costs my eyelashes with a thick coating that my mascara can adhere to. It really helps my eyelashes look fuller and longer. I've been buying this serum for over a year now and recommended it to my friends.

This product is amazing! It really enhances my lashes before applying mascara. And it's a great price! I wish I had it for my wedding!
