Amazing antenna
Small but mighty, I really liked the thinner cord then a standard cb cable easier to conceal and the reception is good for the size great deal 👍👍

Good for cb radios
Works great for my cb radio. Comes with adapter from smaller rf cable to cb cable. Not the strongest magnet but have yet to have mine fail. Will say the connection for the antenna itself gets a little rusty but doesn’t seem to affect functionality at all. As for range, I get perfect signal from a little over a few miles and for the price you really can’t beat it.

Thought I’d buy a cheap antenna for my truck, how bad could it be? Turns out not better than not hooking up an antenna at all. When my CB complained that something was wrong I tested the antenna, fortunately I have a nano VNA that could do just that. The first pic is of my cal load after enough adaptors to hook it up. The return loss is 38.2 dB (should be a positive number, VNA has it wrong) equating to a VSWR of 1.025:1. This was just for a confidence reading, all good. The next pic is of the antenna. Return loss of 0.8 dB (!) and a VSWR of 21.8:1. ‘Nuf said, it’s going back. Update: My only excuse is that I’m not an antenna guy and I’ve since learned about ground planes. This antenna requires a ground plane, so it’s no wonder it’s not going to work correctly sitting on my Bench. So I stuck it to my car and retested it. The third photo shows the results. The good is that the return loss is 30 dB and a VSWR of 1.06, much better. Except that is well above the CB operating frequencies and the Q is so steep that in the CB band it’s still FUBAR. It’s still going back.
