I had to have a hysterectomy young and have never given birth, so I had no idea these existed until I was desperately searching for some relief. I have interstitial cystitis & vulvodynia, so I’m almost always inflamed and miserable “down there”. I was having an extreme flare and desperate for relief, thankfully I found these. I was going out of town and they were a God send for the drive. My favorite new purchase for sure, they also doubled as ice for my lunch cooler & worked well for that. IC pain has been compared to the pain of labor and although I don’t have the experience to confirm that, these REALLY helped to calm down my lady bits. I imagine they would for anyone with pain and discomfort in their sensitive regions for any reason, including UTIs, yeast/vaginal infections, etc. They also work great for hot flashes- I’ve tied them around my waist & neck to help me sleep. I even put them between & under my breasts inside my bra in 98 degree weather- heavenly! I got laughed at but it felt sooo nice. I’ve found several hilarious-looking ways to use them so far, maybe I should post pics to provide some comedic relief for women with their poor vag on fire- LOL. I also love that they can be used hot or cold, too! Now I need to go into my online IC groups & recommend these to everyone (after I order another set or 2). After reading others’ reviews, I really feel for all the new mommas and the pain I can only imagine you go through. I have the utmost respect for all you amazing creators of human life and hope these bring you some relief!!

Having two was perfect for me. I kept one in the freezer all the time and the other I kept for warming to put in my bra before pumping. I used the one for a short time for the ice pack only, then both went full time into being warmers. These things are amazing! I love the covers. Soft and keeps the plastic from sticking to you or being sharp on edges where they are sealed. I usually heat mine for 20 seconds. Once, my husband accidentally put it on a full minute. It expanded like crazy, but it cooled and went back to normal. Somehow, it survived and has kept working beautifully. The price point was great. The size is perfect for both areas I mentioned. Highly recommended these to everyone I know!

These were so helpful for me during my postpartum chapter. I loved the size and fit of these (they covered all my problem areas well). I've never experienced any leakage and it always seemed to keep its cold for as long as I needed it. I love how it came with covers too. It made them more comfortable to wear with all things considered. Even used these after postpartum for other boo boos lol

Worked good at first but didn’t last more than a couple months before the seals broke on the freezer bags and little balls went everywhere. I didn’t use them much and was not rough on them at all. Just not great quality.

Used for hemroids before birth and this was so helpful! Postpartum it was helpful as well. Isn't too cold that it's uncomfortable which is nice, but does cause it to get warm quickly. High quality and bought two sets so that I can rotate them out quickly.

This goes on my favorites list for personal use as well as gifting! I used for post surgery to the perineum area and was able to keep the cold in place to reduce swelling WITHOUT chafing or cutting that other ice pads caused. The soft washable covers are a lycra type fabric & well fitting plus. The beads in the frozen bag were firm but shapable right out of the freezer. The size and length were just right to be able to lay, sit or even walk with pad in place in panties. I highly recommend this product.

I had an all natural childbirth which was painful. But the pain I experienced at home was another story. I was extremely lucky to have a smooth delivery, although I did require a few stitches. The nurse told me I was going to be sore, but I did not anticipate the burning! The pain is indescribable. Applying cold to the area provided me so much relief. It helped tremendously with the burning sensation, and itchiness. Perineal ice packs are a must have for after birth. These in particular have the cutest packaging making it so much nicer to pack in your hospital bag.

I really love these ice packs they are great quality and work so well! I'm so glad i purchased these! I bought the peri bottle and the sitz bath soak as well. They all are amazing. Highly recommend!

I had a natural birth and experienced a second degree tear but not where the books said to massage e.g. perineum! I was in hospital for 5 days where the ward gave me cool sanitary pads with ice and lavender. I got my mum to make up some and put in the freezer however it did not quite work, the pads would defrost, I’d have to sit on a towel as they melted. I also had super frosty bits! I decided out of desperation to buy these and they were just amazing! I was suffering so much in the early days and these helped the pain and swelling so much. I didn’t buy in advance as I knew if I spent money on natural birth items, I would end up needing a c section! I would say if you have a natural birth, buy these immediately for your return home. 3 covers were included that after each time I just washed in the sink with a little liquid hand wash and hung them up over the shower screen. They dried so quick and since they were black I couldn’t see any staining. To be honest I wasn’t bothered and it was the least of my worries!

I brought this item in preparation for the birth of my son, however ended up having an emergency caesarean and no longer needed it for its original purpose. Didn’t go to waste! I’ve used it to care for swollen boobs, putting the covers on and placing it inside my bra, I’m also using it in my cooler when storing milk overnight and have used it in cooler bags when heading out. I know it’ll also be great as an ice pack for those little bumps and falls. Highly recommend! Ps the material for the covers are soft, easy to wash and dry quickly. So good!

I have used these gel pads after all of my deliveries and since it’s been 10 years since my last one I needed to repurchase. I am due baby no. 3 in two weeks and have my gel pads in the freezer for when I get home from hospital. These are lifesavers for comfort and pain relief after a vaginal birth. They take down swelling and bruising I just couldn’t be without them! These ones are super cute too with a lovely bag to store them in and really soft covers for extra comfort. Highly recommend!!

Great item for mums with perineal trauma after birth. Stays frozen for long enough and a good price. Highly recommend.
