LH-GP-GPX-INF-001 Pulse Infinity DAC and Headphone Amplifier

Personal teleportation device! I have never experienced a headphone amplifier that has this ability. With my MrSpeakers Alpha Dog I am convicingly transported to the recording room. This is not even close to burnt in and I am blown away. I did not know my headphones were this capable. The DAC feed my all tube pre and SET amp with amazing results. Here is where I believe the burn in will continue to settle it in but I am already seeing this as an END game solution for my digital and headphone amp needs. As a side note, someone must have been sleeping at the wheel at Amazon because I paid a meer $403 for this item BNIB! I truly thought it was too good to be true, but truth is in the pudding as I sit here and listen, grinning from ear to ear! Thanks LH labs and Amazon!

Great dac with awesome capabilities. A ton of inputs and a variety of outputs make this a very versatile option. Paired with the lps makes it sound absolutely stunning!

Purchased from LIght Harmonic and received unit two months ago. Used it straight from the box. After reading about burn in sonicimprovements it was connected to a HD radio with coax output and played back for two weeks. The sonics are excellent. Played back mainly 96/24 files and results are much cleaner than previous dac. Noise floor and high frequency response stand out. The lack of low level hash or grain is a strong suit. Saw some test results later and saw the -160 dab noise level with 24 bit data. The is dCS stack results. Used a couple amplifiers, one single ended and the other balanced. Both outputs seem to outstanding. Not a headphone user. The volume control is the best I have used. The steps offer better than needed level control. Overall very pleased with the LH Labs Infinity. The cables included are good quality, the new chassis very nice, and the sonics as expected from Light Harmonic. Much recommended to anyone considering a dac/preamp/headphone amp in this price range.

I found out about Light Harmonic from their Kickstarter product Geek Out, a USB dac that performed quite well and decoded anything I could send it. Now that I have the pulse infinity the blackness of the background and clarity of sound is quite awesome. I have had mine on and burned in now for 2 months and I do detect an improvement in the sound. I have mine powered by a linear power supply also from LH that helps to bring the best out of the DAC.
