I ordered these to give new life to 30 year old gaming chairs hoping they would be heavy enough for my use. they were easy to assemble and install and have worked out well for me. I am 6' 2" and 260 lbs. and these have worked very well for me. Fedex lost my second delivery and my inquiry to customer service was handled immediately and a replacement was sent and received very quickly. I have several more chairs to upgrade and will order more of these and to highly recommend them to others as well....More.. I now have 3 of these units and all get heavy use. One has been in near continuous heavy use for over 2 months and I couldn't be happier with it. They have saved my set of gaming chairs and the cost of replacing them.

This replacement chair base is great ! It is much better quality than the original chair base. Simple to attach to the chair. This saved me hundreds of $ since I didn't have to buy a new chair. I highly recommend it for anyone needing a new chair base.

The seat plate is well made and fits the Piston very tightly.The Piston has a very smooth operation.I did not use the wheels or legs, instead I was able to attach this to my chair's legs and use. The base legs are good but just black plastic.

The upholstered chair part of my "bargain executive office chair" find, from a thrift shop, was still comfortable. Unfortunately, the weld that supported the piston on the base had given out over a year of use. It wobbled like crazy, and it was obvious it would give out completely sooner or later. A comparable complete chair, I found, could run up to $300.Searching for base units, I found this one. The price seemed reasonable, and the weight rating more than enough. It took less than a week for delivery. Assembly was easy. Actually there were no instructions provided, but it was simple enough to figure out. After attaching the support to the bottom of the chair (one wrench in my case to remove then reattach the bolts), everything else just pushed together, no tools required to attach piston and casters.I would recommend you double check that the measurements for the holes in the support match those of your current chair. In my case it was a very close match. I think this should last at least until my next job change, then if I am not back in an office, I can buy another chair. :)

overall, it works for what I want, except the ability to use the lever to lift the chair stops working as intended after a few months. it could be the spring or a valve. I have to pick up the chair while holding the lift lever to let the legs drop down if I want to raise the chair. The spring inside the lift cylinder has stopped pushing the chair up. Not a major deal but not what should be happening.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Didn't even have it for a month. Used the chair maybe 6-8 times

better and thicker than my original base very happy and no more falling back or forward. I use to replace im my gaming chair was worried it would not line up it lined up perfectly.

A replacement for my favorite chair that I use every single day! My husband replaced it in 15 min! He said it was the fastest thing he has ever changed out! It is exactly like the old one! No more sliding off my seat. Wish I would have looked into this sooner! Crafting/sewing will be comfortable again! The seller was exceptional. Shipped quickly, even though the weather across the country is less than desirable right now, it arrived in the beginning of the time frame for arrival!
