Machine Quilting Primer (Quilt in a Day)

I am trying to learn machine quilting....especially free motion. The book had good ideas but not anything I didn't already know. But, saved me money since I saved dollars by not having to take a class.

This book has so much information! It gives an extensive list of sewing notions and then explains what they are and how to use each item. I loved the easy to follow directions along with the practice activities. The pictures are another wonderful plus, the hand placement for the projects helped me. I would recommend this book to anyone considering machine quilting. It is awesome!

I am waiting for delivery on my first long arm (actually a 16 inch non computerized) machine. This book answered a lot of questions and gave me confidence to jump right in and quilt.

It is a good book when learn free motion quilting my tacher recommends it to all her students.It also has quilting patterns.

Very easy to understand, especially since I am a new machine quilter. Highly recommend this for a beginner and also as a refresher for those who have been quilting for a while.

I bought this book second hand but it is in great shape. The book has good tips for getting quilts done faster by the use of your sewing machine.
