## Overview

Yandood’s Black Flocking Adhesive Tape is a 3-inch wide, 30-foot long ultra-black felt strip designed to enhance projector screens by absorbing light spill and defining screen edges. Featuring a 1mm thick flocking fabric with spunlace backing for durability and softness, it uses a strong, eco-friendly water-based adhesive that resists peeling and warping. Compatible with various frame materials, it’s the perfect DIY upgrade for sharper contrast and a professional home theater vibe.

## Description

The frame of the screen has an important influence on the projection effect. The black frame on the screen improves the contrast and brightness of the video and can greatly improve the visual experience. If a wall is used for projection, the entire wall is white, and the wall is white except for the picture, which reduces the visual effect. Unless the user paints the other parts of the wall into a dark color, this problem is inevitable, but Doing so affects the beauty of the home again, and it is not worth the loss. Don't look down on this seemingly black frame without any technical content, its width is very learned. Taking a 100-inch screen as an example, a black border greater than 5 cm can effectively avoid distracting eyes. In theory, the wider the black border, the better. Yandood flocking tape has a thick fleece surface and a spunlace backing. It feels soft and comfortable, and the flocking is firm and does not take off. Super black absorbing suede, correct the projection screen, prevent projection light overflow, and provide a clear boundary for the screen. Sturdy water-based environmentally friendly adhesive with strong adhesion, no degumming for a long time, and no edge warpage. Comply with EU RoHS standards. It is suitable for the borders of paint projection screens and white wall projections, as well as the borders of projection screens made of stainless steel, wooden frame PVC, EVA and other materials.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: My wall is painted bone white Would it look good or would it have to be on a white painted wall?**
A: Mine is Versatile Grey. Not your color, but not white either, and it looks phenomenal. Realize when applying, the tape has a faint grain, and ensure you apply in same direction. I switched directions when grabbing one of my pre-cut lengths, and once on the wall it reflected back a different shade of black. Easy fix, but wish I would've kept the roll direction aligned when pre-cuting the lengths I needed. BTW, it's around my screen for small light spillover, and the fix was perfect.

**Q: Will this stick to windows, to cut down on the light bleeding around the window shades edges? if you do not know, then don't answer, simple.**
A: I had to answer even though you are so rude. Since I’ve never purchased this product, I don't have a clue. There, I said it! However, if you want something that would work, go to a vinyl sign shop and have them cut you some vinyl strips in whatever color and size you want and apply them to the glass. This stuff is designed for uv and heat exposure. Even though you suck as a commentor, you just got some great advice despite your rudeness.

**Q: can i use this tape t stick the grey screen material you sell to the wall directly without a frame? 130" is what I need. Thanks.**
A: That's not the recommended way to install. Because the material has to be stretched out to make the screen smooth. One of our customers uses adhesive velcro tape to stretch the material, then stick the edge tape. This is a clever idea. But I think it depends on if your wall fits this kind of installation or not. Thanks
