Another great season.
This is one of those shows that you either love or hate or are ambivalent about. If you ever have had the pleasure to be around a dog for a while, parts of this show are gut-bustingly funny. If there are no dogs in your past, you may want to pass on this one. However if you are a comedy-phile you may still enjoy this show. Long story short this show is about a dog and his man. Elijah Wood sees Jason Gann as a man in a dog suit, while the rest of the world (except for Bruce) sees Wilfred as a normal dog. A lot of the humor is subtle. Some of the humor is dry or deadpan. I love this show so I'm all for new fans. I suggest giving this show a chance.

The funniest & most intelligent comedy on T.V.
I just found out FX has agreed to a Season 3 of WILFRED! It is my favorite comedy on television today. We may now have some more clues to the unanswered questions that this final episode has posed, particularly about the picture from Ryan's childhood. The final episode was great but I was worried that would be the end of the show for good. Jason Gann is brilliant as the Wilfred, the dog that becomes Ryan's, (Elijah Wood's), best friend and confident. He has all the mannerisms of a real dog down perfectly. I have not seen the Australian version, also starring Gann in the role of Wilfred, but this is a wonderful american remake which doesn't happen enough. We will have to wait until June 2013 for Season 3 but it will be worth it.

Tailented Cast With A Cinematic Feel
Great cast, great directing, cinematography, writing, and tone. Wilfred is in synch with my way of thinking about the bigger questions without necessarily answering them. Being a recent, first time dog owner, I find Wilfred's scenes particularly hilarious and relatable--Wilfred is definitely the star of the show. Elijah Wood ("Frodo Baggins") is also great and never sways too much from the tempo and expressions that we have all come to expect from him but, even so, he's a great counterpoint to Wilfred.4 out of 5 stars because the show feels like a feature film, but each episode is only around 25 minutes long... it should be an hour-long show!

Best season
S2 really takes it up a notch. After we get to know everyone in season 1, they deliver a season that is not only hilarious but heartbreaking in its presentation of a character in real trouble.

Better than Season 1
When I first heard about this show, the only thing that appealed to me was Elijah Wood, but it actually turned out to be very funny. Elijah is the perfect actor to play Ryan because he really makes you feel for the character. Jason Gann is hilarious too. Season 2 is just awesome. It was so much more interesting than the 1st season in my book. I can't wait to see how this story progresses in Season 3!

What a delightful show! Kept me entertained while in the hospital.
When I first saw this show advertised, I thought it was the silliest thing ever. And then I was laid up in the hospital with emergency foot surgery. So, I decided to watch the first season. And then I was addicted. You wouldn't think that a guy in a dog suit would be that funny, but it is really a hilarious play on life in general and Wilfred says and does things that just make life, as horrible as it can be, more bearable.

Good Dog/Bad Dog
Probably one of the best comedy series we've seen in a long time. It's a pity that series 4 isn't available to watch in th eUK.

Queasy comedy
I'd give it another star, except that damned mad-man-dog is so unsettling. Maybe that's a good thing. Nobody said that comedy has to be comfortable, after all.
