The size of this mouse pad is excellent. It is large enough to accommodate my gaming keyboard and my mouse with extra room on both sides. It isn't too thick and is stiff enough not to cause any ripples that might affect my mouse. The color is very nice --- nice choices to choose from and accents nicely in dim light. The only thing to notice is that the corners appear a different shade of the color selected. Notable but absolutely not a problem for me. Plugs into the USB port on my keyboard so the cord length is not an issue, but appears long enough to reach my PC if necessary.

I bought this to spruce up my desk at work, and it has by far been one of the best parts of my desk. I have truly accidentally spilled hot chocolate or sodas on this mat, and sprinted in panic to wash away any stains. To my amazement, the liquid stayed put, waiting for me to soak into the paper towels and didn't soak into the pad at all.I have the lights set to slowly transition between colors, which always brings a smile to my face, even during a hard work day. I've not flashy, and sometimes its not as bright, but for the cost, it has impressed me enough to leave a review. Would buy again for my home desk setup
