Imperial Tropicals Hornwort (Ceratophyllum demersum) Great for Outdoor Ponds, Water Features, and Even Freshwater Aquariums (1/2lb)

Package came before time was packaged excellent .Hornwort was alive and green would order more but need bigger aquarium .i.glue to river rock the end part that was cut and place them in the aquarium did not worry about snails or hitcher cause my tank in cycling with high ammonia . GIVING THEM NUTRIENTS AND C02 AND HIGH LIGHT FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR BEFORE LOWER THE LIGHT .WILL DO DAILY WATER CHANGES . HAPPY WITH THE ORDER.update within 3 weeks to a month all plants I order from this vendor died . My other plants lived and florish .possible they didn't like low ph / 5.5 .seems to grown in pond water where ph is higher

The plants arrived healthy. While most pond plants are sold in 6”-8” pieces, these were 1’-2’ long! Also, the plants were clean and didn’t have any problems.Addition to review: these plants have thrived all summer. I am very happy with this purchase!

Way more arrived than expected! It was nice because there was a lot that had to be thrown out (brown/gross from shipping). I had one snail bud and that was it.

Arrived alive and they were plenty big. Roughly two half-gallon bags STUFFED with hornwort. They earned my loyalty.

Well it was packaged great and it looks alive and healthy and there was a ton of it; way too much for my 55 gallon! I put extra in our pond out doors! I was blown away how clear my tank got after just a day of it all being in there! So far so good we will see lol

Here I am thinking, oh a few dollar so there shouldn't be much. I was wrong, it come neatly in a bag, and are now still growing healthy. There was more than what my 7 gallon tank can handle, so I have to give some away. Great for the price would buy again anytime I need these.

I expected the snail hitchhiker, but what I didn't expect was the hornwort came with HUNDREDS of scuds! These things are unkillable and even survived a super high concentrated potassium permanganate nuke just fine! I've spent all day rinsing the hornwort and there are always more and more scuds. I can't risk those getting into my planted tank because they will destroy my plants and shrimps, plus I'll never be able to get rid of them. A shame because the hornwort itself looks nice, and the price is fair too. I really wanted this to be my new source for hornwort, but the scud infestation is a massive dealbreaker and now I have a huge headache over how to safely dispose all the scuds in the quarantine tub without risking contamination.
