SO glad I found these!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great alternative to plastic lids *by C***P on May 24, 2026* These fit well and have replaced the plastic lids that came with our glass food storage containers. I am concerned that the plastic lids may have contributed to microplastics being absorbed in the leftovers and other food in the glass containers. One of the lids was breaking down, probably from being washed in the dishwasher, and had become brittle and crumbly. These silicone lids are soft, easy to affix to the glass, and are easy to clean. While they are dishwasher safe, we mostly wash them by hand in the sink. The caustic nature of dishwasher detergent seems to prematurely breakdown any sort of material that is not glass, metal, or ceramic.
