Fantastic
OMG!!! This is fantastic! I’ve been using dental wax because I didn’t know this existed. As you can imagine, the wax is just a mess. This product is dead-easy to mold and creates a nice smooth surface that snaps into place stays into place and stays put. I’m thrilled!! Saved my lip!!!

Custom lip protector for woodwinds
It’s the best custom lip protector for woodwinds first of all you can shape it as you want and everyone every time you want to use it and you feel the shape doesn’t fit you can put it again boiling water and shake it again, which is really advantage and you don’t have to use a cigarette paper first of all it’s not healthy so this product was the best to choose because it’s durable and it lasts more and it’s really protects your bottom left from your bottom teeth thank you so much for this product and I have been using it now for three months and I don’t regret it. It’s the best products I used.

It Really Works!
I'm picking up my alto sax after decades of not playing. I now have an uneven tooth in my lower front, which was digging into my lip when I played. I'm not "biting," the location of the tooth just rubbed when I folded my lip over my bottom teeth. I followed the directions and molded this over the four bottom front teeth. Not only did it make the rough uneven tooth smooth, but it gave me an even and flat "base" of lower teeth. I played for an hour with zero pain, and the flat "base" cured the squeaking I was getting because the pain affected my embouchure. Great value and functionality!

Really???
$18 for two pieces of tiny plastic? I was fooled into thinking this was a roll of plastic. Seller should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much for this product.

great lip protection but...
This works well if you are VERY careful when you apply it. The description says you can just reheat and reapply if you don't get the right shape/fit, but that isn't really functionally true, it would be really difficult to reshape it into something usable after a fit attempt because it get's super messy as far as it's shape. So DO IT CAREFULLY. I didn't really pay attention to the water temp, I just boiled some water and put it in a tea cup. Then I very carefully floated the new square piece on the top of the water, it will float from the surface tension (don't fully submerge it!). Then wait about 30 seconds and it will turn clear as glass. Then quickly take it out of the water with a spoon, continuing to keep it afloat in the spoon basin. Go to a mirror, and carefully drape it over your teeth and fit it to your teeth with not too much force or you'll bite right through it. Just be gentle with it while it is soft. Squeeze it a little onto your teeth with thumb and index finger to get it to fully shape around your bottom teeth and gums. You'll have maybe 15 to 20 seconds to work with it in your mouth before it starts to cure. Once you've got a good shape let it sit there and harden for about another minute. I would NOT put cold water in your mouth right away, let it cure slowly. If you cool it off too fast it will warp a little and you'll feel it torque your teeth a little, almost like wearing a new retainer before your teeth get adjusted, but it will still be usable. But to avoid that, just let it cure slowly if you want no warping. My only gripe with this company is that the price is quite high for the actual cost of their raw materials. I happen to know that the raw materials are VERY inexpensive. They should give you a whole sheet of it for the price they are charging. At least 10 squares for that price! A lot more squares would allow anyone lots of practice to get the fit just right. You only get three little squares, it's a bit greedy on their part if you ask me... It's really not enough to practice the fitting process with, and believe me you need to practice the fitting process! So just be careful during fitting and you should be fine, once you get one fitted just right, you can trim it a little with scissors to get any of the super thin plastic around the edges cleaned up. If you can get one fitted just right, it will last a long time, maybe even years. PRO TIP: get some denture cleaner tablets and soak it after you play on it. It will build up tarter over months and can cause tooth decay issues if you don't keep it clean. Super easy, just pop an efferdent cleaning tab in a tea cup and let it sit there until the next use, then rinse it off and use again.
